Preschool Care

Hello! My name is Hollie Rutkowski, welcome to Little Lambs Christian Center Preschool Room. I am excited to be the head teacher and to develop a positive relationship with your child/children. A little about myself, I have an Associates Degree as an Educational Assistant and have eight years of experience working with children. I am married, have a son and I live in Hutchinson. I enjoy spending time with my family, talking walks and camping. My role as a childcare teacher is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a wide spectrum of social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. I recognize that every child learns diferently and I will strive to accomodate each child's needs.

Each day will consist of a morning meeting, prayer, bible lessons/nusery rhymes/themes, math/science activities, ABC time and small field trips in the summer. I will be sending home a calendar informing you of the upcoming weekly activities. You can also find the monthly calendar of the themes, bible lessons and he nursery rhymes that I will be implementing each week in the preschool room on this website. To make his a wonderful experience for you and your child.children and myself; communication is very important between the parents and the teacher. Hi there! My name is Megan Terning and I am the Teacher’s Aide in the Preschool Childcare Room! A little about me, I graduated from Ridgewater College with a 2 year Educational Assistant Degree, I live in Litchfield and I have worked in the field of childcare for the past 5 years. I enjoy being around children of all ages! I have been involved with children in different areas including: babysitting, being a Sunday school teacher at my church, a volunteer for Vacation Bible School in the summer, a JO volleyball coach, and I am currently the X-Treme Kids Coordinator at Litchfield Community Education. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, running, and playing volleyball. I am honored to be a part of Little Lambs Christian center! I look forward to getting to know your child/children and watching them learn and grow!

Hello, my name is Laura Wendland and along with being the Center Director, I am currently the afternoon Preschool Childcare Teacher! I have Bachelor’s Degrees in both Elementary Education and Nutrition and have been working in the field of childcare for over 3 years. My husband and I live here in Hutchinson and are excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first child this May! J I enjoy spending time with my husband and my 11 year old stepdaughter, camping, scrapbooking, and traveling when possible. I look forward to helping this center grow and develop a strong community as well as play an integral part in the education and development of your amazing children!
